17 Regions · 17 Stories
From Spain to Bangkok
The Final Touch
Seasonality. Simplicity. Spain.
Tasting Menu & À La Carte at SÓPA
Tasting Menu
Reservation Only

English Version
Behind Every Plate at SÓPA: Spanish Fine Dining in Bangkok
A plate at SÓPA does not begin when the chef starts plating.
It begins much earlier.
Each menu starts with a region of Spain: its ingredients, local dishes, culinary traditions and stories. From there comes research, menu development, testing, preparation and finally the last few moments before a dish leaves the kitchen.
The final plating captured in this photograph is therefore only the last step of a much longer process.
At SÓPA Restaurant Bangkok, Spain is at the heart of our cuisine.
Led by Chef Capper – Vacharobol Sopa, SÓPA brings together his culinary education and experience across Thailand, France and Spain to create a personal interpretation of Spanish cuisine in Bangkok.
17 Regions · 17 Stories
Spain cannot be represented by a single style of cooking.
Its regions have different landscapes, ingredients, traditions and culinary identities.
This diversity inspired SÓPA’s concept:
17 Regions · 17 Stories.
Each regional chapter becomes the starting point for a new menu. Rather than simply reproducing traditional dishes, we study their origins and reinterpret their ideas through SÓPA’s own culinary language.
Our goal is for guests to discover not only what is on the plate, but also the place and story behind it.
From Spain to Bangkok
Ingredients play an essential role in this process.
Many key ingredients are carefully selected and imported from Spain, while seasonal Thai produce, fruits and herbs may also be used when they best complement a particular dish.
For us, provenance matters, but so does choosing the ingredient that communicates the character of each dish most clearly.
The result is cuisine rooted in Spain while being created and served here in Bangkok.
The Final Touch
The work continues until the moment a dish leaves the kitchen.
Temperature, sauce consistency, texture, placement and timing can all affect the final experience.
Plating is therefore more than presentation. It is the moment when days of preparation finally come together on one plate.
Seasonality. Simplicity. Spain.
These three ideas remain central to the way we cook at SÓPA.
Tasting Menu & À La Carte
Guests can experience SÓPA through both our Tasting Menu and À La Carte menu.
Our Tasting Menu follows the regional story presented by SÓPA each month, while the À La Carte menu allows guests to select Chef Capper’s signature dishes individually.
Seasonal sauces, garnishes and accompanying elements may evolve alongside the monthly regional concept.
Because dishes are prepared specifically according to each reservation, both Tasting Menu and À La Carte selections require a minimum of 14 days’ advance reservation and pre-ordering.
The Tasting Menu requires a minimum of 8 guests.
Dinner is served from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, by reservation only.
At SÓPA, dinner is not simply about what is served on the plate.
It is an invitation to experience another story of Spain.
17 Regions · 17 Stories.
Seasonality. Simplicity. Spain.
